SERVICES/PROGRAMS
Gateway to Success, Inc. seeks to improve the ability of individuals in Dallas and Amarillo, Texas seeking change in order to support themselves and achieve goals of self-sufficiency and/or met the requirements of school, probation/parole, and court ordered services, etc.
SUPERVISED AND THERAPEUTIC VISITATION SIT-INS/ SUPERVISED EXCHANGES
On the behalf of the parent(s), parent’s attorney, Guardian Ad Litem, and/or court ordered services; GTS, Inc. can offer nonintrusive supervised visitation sit-ins within our office, the home, CPS office, and community settings to ensure the safety of those involved. Therapeutic sit-ins use licensed clinician who can provide therapeutic intervention during the visits. Supervised exchanges or “Monitored Transfers” are supervision of the transfer of the child from one parent to another.

Required Documents
A copy of the full, signed Court or CPS order. Also include any formal findings of domestic violence or copies of protective orders if they exist. If there is no Court order, please include a copy of the full treatment plan and/or a written voluntary agreement.
***These documents must be in our possession before any intake/orientation sessions can be scheduled.
Intake Procedure
After you have emailed us the required documents, each party should call to schedule an intake/orientation session.
Both custodial and non-custodial parents involved in the visits and exchanges must attend a separate intake/orientation session.
***Children are not allowed to attend the intake/orientation session and there is no
child care provided. Please make other arrangements before attending.
The $70.00 registration fee for each intake/orientation is due prior to the start of the intake/orientation session. Each parent has a separate intake/orientation. This session takes roughly one hour. Program guidelines/rules and fees will be reviewed, parties will have the opportunity to ask questions and contracts will be signed.

NURTURING PARENTING PROGRAM
The Nurturing Parenting Programs are validated, family-centered programs designed to build nurturing skills as alternatives to abusive parenting and child-rearing attitudes and practices. ... The program is designed for all families at risk for abuse and neglect, with children 0-19 years old.

HOME STUDIES AND ASSESSMENTS
GTS, Inc. has trained Home Assessors who meets the qualifications outlined by Texas law and/or child placing agency standards.
A Home Study is a report required by Texas law to adopt a child or to have child placed in a relative’s home.

LEMONADE DAY AMARILLO
Lemonade Day is a fun, experiential program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their very own business - a lemonade stand. Each year, in participating cities, youth have the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship by setting up their business during their city's community-wide Lemonade Day. By teaching key analytical skills, financial literacy, and decision making, we foster self-esteem and new mindsets that can propel youth to success. Our mission is to help today's youth to become the business leaders, social advocates, community volunteers and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow.

COUNSELING AND LIFE SKILLS
Gateway to Success, Inc. will operate a mental health counseling center for emotional growth beyond the current experiences and crisis intervention using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy techniques.

Gateway to Success, Inc. accepts most major insurances. We will work to get your services verified prior to beginning treatment. Gateway to Success, Inc. will contact you prior to your scheduled session to inform you of your benefits and required payment per session.
-Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment. Sliding Scale services are available to those without mental health coverage.
-Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
-Privacy and Policy
Please review the informed consent form you will complete at Gateway to Success Inc. This reviews the confidentiality agreement between therapist and client.
HELPING THROUGH INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION (HIP) PROGRAM
(Contract with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services)
Project HIP is a new effort that provides voluntary services to families that will increase protective factors and prevent child abuse. The program provides an extensive family assessment, home visiting programs that include parent education and basic needs support to targeted families. Eligible families are those who have previously had their parental rights terminated due to child abuse and neglect within the past two years who currently have a newborn child, families who have previously had a child die with the cause identified as child abuse or neglect within the past two years who currently have a newborn child, and current foster youth who are pregnant or who have given birth in the last twelve months.
